🔴 BaaS Platform
Error Code Reference — New Documentation
A new error code reference is now available for BaaS APIs. This is the first release of this document - it currently covers response codes for our highest-traffic APIs and will expand over time as coverage grows across the full API surface.
Each entry includes a description of what the code means and recommended steps for handling it in your integration. Bookmark this page and check back as new codes are added in future releases.
Webhooks — Full Documentation Overhaul
All Webhook documentation has been rewritten from the ground up. This release includes:
- Webhooks Overview — A new overview page describing how Green Dot webhooks work, how events are structured, and how to configure and validate deliveries in your integration.
- Webhook Events — Descriptions for every webhook event type, including when each event fires and what data is included in the payload.
If you have existing webhook integrations, no breaking changes were introduced. These documentation updates reflect current behavior.
Tax Refund Disbursement — New Integration Guide
A new integration guide is now available for tax preparation platforms. This guide covers how to offer your customers a Green Dot account and debit card directly within the tax filing experience, with their refund deposited automatically to that account at the time of disbursement.
This product is purpose-built for the tax season workflow — account provisioning, card issuance, and refund routing are handled as a single integrated flow.

Retail API Documentation — Full Overhaul
The entire Retail documentation section has been reorganized and rewritten. The getting started guide, API reference, and sample data have all been updated as part of this overhaul.
